I began this series 1957 with the idea that I had five years left to live. At least according to my mother who would tell me I was just like my father in so many ways and that like him I would in all likelihood be dead at the age of 25. On my 26th birthday I visited my mother and told her how relieved I was to have outlived her prediction. She thought for a moment and said "actually he died at age 27".
